I installed the Entrecard widget on July 5th and it has brought me 96 unique visits, 26 from ads placed on other blogs through Entrecard and 70 from other Entrecard users.
Out of all 96 visits, I have made a total of $0.26 from Kontera ad clicks and $0.13 from Google ad clicks from the Entrecard visitors. None on any other affiliate program.
So is Entrecard worth the time and energy it takes to drop cards and login and manage ad requests when you could be spending that time on other things?
This I am unclear on right now. I will continue to monitor the stats and see if it does anything other than bring me other Entrecard users. I have heard from other Entrecard users that they regretted removing the widget from their sites because the visitor count went down significantly, but is the traffic genuine users or just other Entrecard bloggers dropping cards?
Time will tell if its worth it or not.

Entrecard visitors has a lot to do with the fact that they want you to drop on their blog as well. Sure, there are the occasional visitors from advertisements; it’s usually not much.
The best thing to do is to gain enough credits to advertise on the most popular blog in your niche.
Other than that, it really won’t help you much.

I tried the Entrecard method before and I found that it was only worth boosting your Alexa traffic rank, but in the end it had no real effect on affiliate sales.
Although it does help you get to know other bloggers out there and as the guy above me said, getting enough drops can get your ad placed on a big blog which might help you out in the end.
Entrecard has been great for me, but that’s because I have to keep my unique visitor numbers up if I want to keep my blog running. But I don’t get paid via advertising, so it would be like comparing apples and oranges, I suppose.
Entrecard did wonders for both of my blogs.
It is a genuine free traffic booster and more.
I’m hooked to dropping 300 cards daily for both of my blogs.
COming across 600 blogs in a day is a helluva lot of time spent on it but it depends on how much time you got to spare. Balance is the key here I think. I’ve managed to drop 600 cards for both of my blogs and I am just a part-time blogger. I go to work on a 8-5 basis and there’s no internet connection in my work place, but i’ve managed to do it. I have been notoriously dropping ecards and Im having fun!

Hello, nice looking blog you have here. I think Entrecard is worthwhile, sure someone might just drop their card and “bounce” straight away but after they visit 3-4-5 times to drop their card things start to become “familiar” to them. Eventually they WILL stop and have a read.
Also i am running a great contest this week over at The Affiliate Secret, might be worth a look if you like free prizes. cheers Jared :)
I have just started using the EntreCard. In one day of dropping 200 cards, my Googles rev was 7.67 which is amazing for just the cards dropped. My Kontera was 1.12. I have only been doing this for a about a week. However, I can share this with you.
1) Its working for me. I dropped on
a) Most popular
b) New & Entertainment type
c) my competition
2) I have left comments (as I am now)
3) I visit and read the articles of interest. This way, your rating on Alexa are not affected. You should visit drop your card and click on an internal link. This will ready as a unique visit and not affect your numbers.
You should also; keep the EntreCard even if you do not want to drop that many cards. When applying for other Affiliate accounts, they will look at your alexa numbers and determine your application.
I will check back and see what progress you are making and let you know what progress I make with the EntreCard alone. :)
