Yes I am. I have been hosting with Hostgator for years and I was actually a network administrator for Hostgator so I know the service is good. Most problems with Hostgator are caused by the customers, not with the servers.
Hostgator is pretty good but people who love to spam make the servers very slow.. I have been using HG for more than 1 years now.

I can say also that Hostgator is such an awesome web hosting provider. All of my sites are hosted to them and they are all working good and never experienced any downtime.
I was wondering how many domains they typically host on a single IP and server. Because, when I tracked back (forgot which tool I used) sometime back, I found that my hosting provider (HostMonster) had 700+ domains on a single server!!!

They usually use 1 ip for about 100 domain names. This can cause issues if other domains have been flagged for spamming.
It only costs $5 for an extra ip number that only you use.
I am going to be moving to my own server at the same datacenter that Hostgator uses, ThePlanet.com
Then I won’t have to worry about those issues or other users hogging all the bandwidth, memory or cpu cycles.
