If you pay attention to the media you will see jobs being cut all across the US and everyone screaming recession, recession. More and more people are looking to the internet to make money and to start their own business and be their own boss. Many financial researchers are saying that the second internet dot com is upon us and now is the time to take advantage of it.
These are some of the internet’s biggest money makers:
Affiliate Blogging – All the rage right now is “how to making money with your blog”. If you have a blog or want to setup a blog soon, affiliate marketing is the way to go.
These are some of the ways you can make money off your blog:
Google Adsense – Adsense is an affiliate service provided by Google that allows you to put content targeted ads on your website. You earn money when visitors click on these ads. This is an example of an Adsense ad:
Text Link Ads – This service allows you to display a list of “paid links” on your blog. You will get paid for each link displayed on your site. How much you get paid depends on a combination of your Alexa rating and your rss subscriber numbers.
Banners Ads – These range from the large banner from the top sidebar of my blog, the 125×125 ads you see to the bottom right to the banners you see at the bottom of every rss feed. You can display these ads on your site and each one clicked gets you affiliate payouts. I use per sale methods instead of per click. This earns you more in the long run from sales. These are 3 of the ad networks I use: Commission Junction, Clickbank and Shareasale.
eBay/Craigslist – Becoming a seller on eBay and Craiglist is a great way to create revenue. If you have a product you make or can find cheap, you can make a fortune on these sites if you do it right.
Online Store – Setup and operate your own e-commerce store online. With shopping cart software such as ZenCart and osCommerce, it is easier than ever to start and run your own store. We will go over these on the blog as well.
